For farm animals, there are few options available when a loving guardian can no longer provide care to them or when they are left to fend for themselves due to abandonment or cruelty.
Lily's Place was founded by animal lovers who wanted to be part of the solution for farm animals who found themselves needing a safe place to go.
Providing care and safety to animals is a model you'll be familiar with from the amazing organizations helping cats, dogs, rabbits, and other companion animals in distress.
Our nonprofit's mission is similar with one key difference; we focus on farm animals who's options are limited due to their species and often compounded by age, medical conditions, and challenging behaviour.
Donations can also be made on the CanadaHelps.org website.
Please fill out this form if you are looking to rehome or surrender a farm animal into the care of Lily's Place Sanctuary.
Due to the large volume of requests and limited Sanctuary resources, we can only respond to those requests that we may be able to accept.
*If this is an emergency situation, please contact your local SPCA, Humane Society or Police detachment.
We're not open to the public and aren't hosting any visitors outside of our monthly sponsors this summer (learn more).
If you're a monthly sponsor and you'd like to visit this summer, please reach out via email.
