For farm animals, there are few options available when a loving guardian can no longer provide care to them or when they are left to fend for themselves due to abandonment or cruelty.

Lily's Place was founded by animal lovers who wanted to be part of the solution for farm animals who found themselves needing a safe place to go. 

Providing care and safety to animals is a model you'll be familiar with from the amazing organizations helping cats, dogs, rabbits, and other companion animals in distress.

Our nonprofit's mission is similar with one key difference; we focus on farm animals who's options are limited due to their species and often compounded by age, medical conditions, and challenging behaviour.

The cost of providing compassionate, life-long care (often a decade or more) to animals who wouldn’t otherwise have a home is more than most individuals can manage on their own. Sponsorships provide a way for each of us to contribute to the care of the animals at the sanctuary in a sustainable way. 

It's also worth noting that animal rescues that focus on farmed animals are the most underfunded organizations out of all animal causes, according to research done by faunalytics (source). So, if you love to support the underdog,  donate to your local farm animal sanctuary.

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for Lily's Place Animal Sanctuary. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to Lily's Place Animal Sanctuary through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for Lily's Place Animal Sanctuary to benefit. The best way to support the sanctuary and provide long-term stability to Lily's Place is to become a monthly sponsor. On average, it takes 3 monthly supporters to cover the care of one resident for one month. That means, while few of us can make any grand gestures of the monetary variety, together, as a community of caring people, we can band together and ensure safe refuge for animals in need exists! By leaving a gift in your Will, you'll have a profound impact on helping to ensure safe refuge exists for farmed animals in need and help us create a world where the lives of farmed animals are cherished and free from harm.
