Did You Know Your Job Could Help Save Animals?
Many companies in Canada reward their employees and retirees for supporting charities like Lily’s Place Animal Sanctuary — simply by donating, volunteering, or doing both.
If you work (or used to work) at one of the companies listed in this PDF, your everyday actions — like volunteering a few hours or making a small donation — could trigger hundreds or even thousands of dollars in support for the rescued animals at Lily’s Place.
Here's how it works:
At Lily’s Place Animal Sanctuary, we are more than just a rescue—we are a community working together to provide lifelong care for farmed animals who have nowhere else to go. Our board members are the heart of our leadership, guiding us with passion, strategy, and dedication. If you’re ready to lead with purpose and help drive meaningful change, we invite you to learn more about joining our team.
It’s easy:
✅ Collect refundable bottles and cans from friends, family, neighbours, or community events
✅ Drop them off and donate the proceeds to Lily’s Place
✅ Know that every single bottle helps feed, house, and care for animals who need it most
To donate, simply use the donation form on this page or e-transfer to hello@lilysplace.ca.
Do it on your schedule, in your community. Whether you collect 20 bottles or 2,000, each donation helps care for animals like Bob.
Bottle Drive for The Animals of Lily’s Place!
Send a lovely letter (virtually) to a resident at the sanctuary! This is a great activity for all ages, and we even have a lesson plan (and sub plan) for teachers who'd like to do this with their students.
Do you love a good challenge? Us too! The 10 in 10 Challenge is directly messaging, calling, emailing, or telling 10 people you know about Lily's Place in 10 days! If you complete the challenge, we'd love to know!
How many friends do you have who love animals? How cool would it be if those friends formed a little Friends4Animals team that gave $1 a month? Creating a care crew can be as little as $5 a month!
Head over to our blog to learn the back stories of the animals who call LP home, what it's like to run a sanctuary, and the animal welfare issues we hope to address. Be sure to sign up to be notified of new posts.
Whether you live near or far, if you've never been on a tour of the sanctuary, now is the time to sign up to be notified of our next round of tours! We offer them in person as well as virtually.
If you're connected with us on Facebook, don't keep us a secret! Use the Facebook share or invite options to let your besties know about us. Your free action step is to go to our FB page and invite your friends to the page.
Did you know Lily's Place has been covered in the local and national news? It's true! Check out the videos, then share them with a friend.
