Annabelle joined us on January 6, 2021. She was found hanging out at a very busy intersection in the middle of a big city. A compassionate person spotted her and attempted to find out where she came from. 

When no home could be found, it was suspected that she was dumped there to fend for herself. She was brought to Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary, which entrusted us to be Annabelle’s forever home. 

Annabelle is a super sweet duck who likes to follow Jamie (one of our founders) around. 

She's earned the reputation as a "one-person duck" as Jamie is often the only human whom she'll voluntarily hang out with.

If you're looking for Annabelle, she is often spotted chasing bugs, checking out the gardens, or in the stream close to the barn peeking out of the long grass. Sometimes she's in the paddock squawking at the chickens.  

As a female Muscovy Duck, Annabelle has a very quiet voice (especially compared to her friends Daisy and Milo) and in true Muscovy fashion, Annabelle likes to perch up as high as she can get (a natural trait that her little friends Daisy and Milo don't share).
