Rose joined us in January 2022, along with Levi, Celeste, Dorothy, Unicorn, and the quail (Delia, Lydia, and Barbara), when their previous home could no longer care for them.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Shortly after her arrival, Rose took the 3-hour round trip to see the vet. She had an overgrown beak that was trimmed at the vet's office, and a few other concerns were addressed as well, including her legs, which were irritated and sore. ⁣
⁣
After her quarantine period ended, Rose and the 3 other hens she had come in with joined the main chicken flock. ⁣
⁣
Rose is a confident, talkative hen who will let you know she’s around if you get the chance to meet her. She’s spunky, self-assured, and never misses a chance to hang out with her friend Dorothy.
