Astrid arrived at the sanctuary during a busy volunteer day. She was joined by her friends Goldie and Ursula, all around the age of 4, and needing a new home. Astrid is a strong willed hen who rules the roost. She also loves to perch high up and crank her neck down towards you and "baaaaaak" at you when you walk by her perch! She's a real character and a delight to have around!
