2021
Ted joined us in October 2021 along with his mom, Dazy and his friend Tardy after their previous caretaker received a terminal cancer diagnosis.
Ted’s mom, Dazy, was a former dairy goat and was pregnant when she was rescued. Female goats need to continue to be impregnated and have babies to produce milk and baby boys are often seen as “by-products” of the dairy industry.
Thankfully for Ted, his mom was rescued while she was still pregnant with him so he’s only ever known what sanctuary life is like!
Ted is an interesting fellow! He likes to lay in the sun with his mom, follow Tardy around, and climb on things. But what he really LOVES is running around head-butting who ever might play with him. He’s known for what we call “flying TED butts” and is constantly keeps us on our toes!
