Chickpea came into our care late last night. Her person wanted the best for her after a traumatic injury. One of our volunteers was able to pick up Chickpea last night and bring her to the sanctuary. This morning, she was examined by one of our wonderful vets, but sadly, it was determined that the kind thing to do would be to help her with a peaceful passing.
