When farm animals face neglect or abandonment, who can help them?
Be The Reason

The brains of the goat crew, Milhouse, has a new sponsor! Thank you so much to The Grinning Goat Vegan Boutique for joining Milhouse’s monthly care crew! You’re in good company as a member of Milhouse’s care, along with Nicole W.
Yesterday morning, we were talking about how smart Milhouse is! He knows how to work gates and is always watching to see how other things work, too.
If open gates (that are supposed to remain open) aren’t secured, Milhouse will close Merlin and Mel out. He’s quick to do this in spaces that he’s extra fond of. Plus, Milhouse is at the bottom of the pecking order, so any opportunity to gate off anyone who interrupts his snacking and napping is an opportunity he takes!
While we were moving the modular stall panels around yesterday, Milhouse watched us, and by the time we had finished, he had figured out how they work! Let’s hope he doesn’t start rearranging the panels when we aren’t looking lol!
If this is the first time you’re hearing about Milhouse, you can check out his story here.
