Please welcome Opal to Lily’s Place! Opal is joining us to live out her golden years after her hen friend passed away.

She’s a sweet and social hen who’s lived with a volunteer since Opal and her hen friends were rescued several years ago.

Now that Opal is the last hen of the flock that was rescued, she’s joined the crew at LP to make some new friends, get cozied up in our hen house as the winter sets in, and meet ducks, sheep, and goats for the first time! Exciting times ahead for Opal .
