Rory has been adjusting well since she moved from the intake area into the main barn. While she’s still cautious, her curiosity has been growing as she’s watched her friend Charlie become more comfortable with us. When Charlie comes over to greet me, Rory is slowly gaining the courage to take an extra step closer to me each time. 

Once she’s really ready to come out of her shell, she’ll have so many more friends (both two-legged and 4) to hang out with. In the meantime, we have wonderful news to share! She didn’t have to wait long for her first care crew member to come along! 

Thank you so much to Kayla for becoming the first member of Rory’s care crew! It’s extra special to know that Rory has friends near and far who are there to ensure that she’ll have the best life ever, thanks to their support!
